After we got back from our road trip, I signed the kids up for more swimming lessons. We did private lessons with Coach Dana. She did a fabulous job.
Noah got a lot more comfortable in the water. He worked really hard on his float. He also puts his whole head under water now!! Yay!
Sofie worked hard too and learned the backstroke and is doing well with her head under water and treading water too.
Slide day was their favorite. They had to pass the swim test first. The test was to jump in the water and swim across to the other side. Sofie, Kira and Isak all passed and went down the slide.
We set up our little pool. The kids enjoyed many hours playing in it.
We went to a friends house for a water party. Noah was nervous getting on the wet trampoline with everyone.
But he did it! I think they all had fun. We did water balloons too.
We bought this sprinkler snake. It did not last very long...but it was fun for a few minutes.
I took the kids to the Sports.com pool by myself. We spent a few hours there and it was a lot of fun!
Another weekend, we came back to the pool with Nels and had more fun. The kids love the water. Isak and Kira are little fish and swim everywhere. Sofie is getting more and more confident in the water too. And I'm super proud of Noah for trying new things and tolerating the water so much better than at the beginning of the summer! Yay!!
