March 2017 Wrap Up

All of the Random Pics from March 2017.

We didn't really go anywhere big in March.  

One big thing we did...the dentist.  It was the first time Isak and Kira went to the dentist.  They did awesome.  Isak said, "I wore my fire truck shirt so I would be brave."  He was brave too!  He went first and did exactly what Pam the hygienist asked him to do.  He had a super small cavity on his upper canine tooth.  The dentist took care of it and Isak did great.  After Kira saw Isak do it, she was a big brave girl and handled her cleaning and x-rays very well.  I was pretty happy and glad it was done for a while. :)

We bought Isak a bow tie.  :)  Isn't he just too handsome!!

This pic isn't very good but I love Noah in his pink suit.

And Sofie is cute too.

We ate at Red Robin once and Noah gave this cute grin.

I wasn't fast enough to capture Sofie asleep.  But this cute face just makes me smile!

Isak fell asleep like this!  What?!  How is this even possible?  I have to have everything just right in order to fall asleep.  But he finds the strangest positions.

Life with four kids.  Now the babies come to visit the big kids at their chairs.

We put the gate up so the big kids would have a place to play without the babies constantly messing up their toys.  It has helped a lot.  Sofie and Noah inspected the gate for a while.

The TV was on and these two thought it was so fun to stand up and watch it.

And this is my life...Feeding babies all day long.  That's what it feels like.  Lovely gray outfit, don't you think.  haha.

This was after I finally got this fussy baby to sleep.  It was so frustrating, but look how sweet he is now.

I did an activity with the kids!! We made clouds with rainbows and shamrocks.  We also read books about St. Patrick's day.

And then the cupboards were discovered.

Nothing is safe anymore!!

We did make it to Brigadoon Park with the cement slides.

And we went outside with the babies one day.  Noah's nervous face and Sofie's pure delight face.

He did warm up to being outside.

And coming up in April....Nels built a playground set for the kids!

It was a long month...all of us got sick at one point or another and sleep was poor.  Thankfully, April was better.

10 Months Old - March 2017

This was a pretty funny photo shoot.  They are at a cute age.  I wrote some things from my journal that I will share.

This pic cracks me up...Sofie "was this supposed to go on my head??"

Noah loves to clap and it's a fun way for the older kids to interact with them.

Noah was actually happy for the pictures!  I love it!

Noah does not want any real food in his mouth.  But he drinks his bottle very well.  He pulls himself into a standing position and sometimes onto his knees and occasionally his feet.

oh Sofie...she just wanted to suck on her sticker.

She did a little better in the rocking chair.

She even tried to eat Noah's sticker!

Sofie just wants to eat real food.  She is a spaz when it's time to drink her bottle.  But she is trying to hold her bottle now and feed herself.  She likes bread (crust and all!) bananas and baby food.  I feel like she eats more than Kira sometimes.  She pulls herself up to a standing position all the time now.

I just love when they smile, laugh and clap!!

February 2017 Wrap Up!

Random Pics for February 2017...

Our Sofie...she climbed into this toy drawer and thought it was the best!  I laughed.

I have to keep my eye on this one.  She's constantly discovering things and loves to destroy things.

I just thought the babies were cute practicing kneeling.

Haha.  That's how Sofie used the pacifier.  She plays with it like a toy.

Her and Noah get a long pretty well.  And usually like to sit by each other.

Little explorer...one sock on and one sock off.  Go Noah!

Apparently I took a lot of pics of Sofie this month.  But she's just such a cutie!

Kira wanted me to take a pic of her drawing....It's her on a horse.

If you sit on the floor for any reason, be prepared to have some visitors.

Isak and Kira do love each other!  I don't remember what happened but they fell asleep on the couch.

I could see this tree as I did dishes and prepared food and took care of kids.  I loved seeing this tree.  It lifted my spirit every time and helped me feel joy.

Nels got me roses and chocolate ice cream for valentine's day.  I liked all the colors.

We took the babies outside for a bit.

They liked it for the most part.

Isak and Kira still enjoy coloring and spend a lot of time doing it.  I just try to keep them stocked up with markers, color crayons, paper etc.

I also got the kids registered for T-K (transitional kindergarten).  Crazy!
