September Wrap Up

Here are the last pictures from September.

The kids watched the iPad while I finished getting ready for the day.  I thought they looked so cute.  Kira's legs are crossed too!
My sister Melissa let us borrow her magna doodles.  The kids love them.
Melissa also gave us these fun plates to use.  I like all the little compartments.
"Cleaning the sink is fun to do..."
Popsicles make my kids happy.

This is blurry...Isak is hard to photograph sometimes.
I finally reached my goal of growing my hair to my bra strap.  I have wanted to do that since high school and I finally did it!
Isak snuggling...
and then pretending to sleep.
First day of preschool.  I joined a group of mom's doing preschool.  The kids were so cute!

They actually stood by each other and smiled!!! (after about ten pictures)
Sadly, I quit preschool a few weeks later for many reasons...I am glad I did.  But I would like to do it again another time.
One night we loaded the car to visit a place I saw a sign for on the road called Lightening Peak.  Well,  it turned out to be the Juvenile Correction Center and a parking lot.  haha.  But across the parking lot were some deer!  So we did see some nature.  I thought it would be a hike or a park, boy was I wrong.  We had a good laugh.
Sometimes Kira will ask me to take her picture.  It makes me smile.  She is a cutie pie and I am happy to capture her smile.  She is holding her flashlight in this picture.
I think this was the second day of preschool.  They learned about the letter A and the square shape.
Aren't they cute?!
Another pic of my long hair.  I ended up cutting it in October...but only a couple of inches.
Starting to get chilly enough for hats at the park.

A little blurry, but love that smile.
We found our new favorite pizza place!!  It's on Center street in Provo called Two Jack's Pizza.  I love their Root Beer and of course their pizza is delicious.

Even Isak likes it.  Kira just wanted to play with the candy machine as you can see in the background.
Thicker crust and the special comes with breadsticks too.  Very filling.
Although, we did save room for some dessert at Baskin Robbins.   Isak was loving the ice cream and wanted to eat everyone's.
Even mine!!
He stole mine and gave me a devilish grin.
And a devilish laugh too!  Can you believe that??!
Isak fell asleep...I tried to wake him up but ended up snuggling him for a few minutes first.
Isak thought he was so cute wearing Daddy's shoes.  They are sweet shoes...Mickey Mouse Vans.
Kira has finally decided that dolls aren't scary.  She now plays with her doll on occasion. :)
Sometimes it is hard to be a Daddy...The kids maul him and climb on him and sometimes daddy just needs to have a little space.  :)
More popsicles.
Forget the doll...Kira likes to hang out in her doll's stroller instead.
And that is all for September!

Pioneer Village

For playgroup, we went to Pioneer Village.  It's a plot of land in Provo with early settler homes.  There was a tour and we went through the different buildings and learned about life long ago.  The kids were pretty good.
Pretty white dress next to a crib and rocking chair.
I've been to a lot of old home tours.  This was the first time I saw this little invention.  Can you tell what it is?
It's how they dried their wet gloves!
Here's Kira checking out the wagon.
Isak sitting patiently and waiting for the blacksmith and leather demonstration.
Playing with chalk in the school house.
I hope they are good students when it is time for school.
They really liked doing the chalk.
I thought this painting was cool...it is of when the seagulls ate the crickets and saved the early pioneer's crops.
The outside of the little school house.
While the other children learned how to play pioneer children's games, my kids picked dandelions and blew the seeds.
They were too fascinated with the flowers to pay attention to the games. haha.

There was a playground right next door to the village...As you can see, they were pretty excited and ran to the playground.  The ground was covered with huge, crunchy leaves.  A fun, fall day!
