Moments in February 2025:
Isak got a 13 second solve!!
A walk on a warm day with my girls.
We celebrated the day we met (Jan. 31, 2003) on Feb 3...Nels grilled filets and I made baked potatoes and air fried mushrooms. We ate together with the family. Isak and Sofie both like steak. It was a nice celebration.
Kira's tooth grew before her baby tooth fell out. The new tooth pushed her old tooth to the side. I could not pull her old tooth out, so we finally went to the dentist. She pulled it right out and Kira was so happy.
And she got some money from the tooth fairy.

She's wearing her house shirt for school. The school has four houses...kind of like Harry Potter. Doesn't she look so cute?
Played Monopoly with Isak...I won!! I think it's the first time I finally beat him. :)
My mom sent me a Valentine's paper pumpkin kit. I enjoyed making these cute cards!

Sofie gave fruit roll ups and Noah gave dum dum suckers.

Noah is really, really into paper airplanes. He loves to fold them, fly them and teach others how to fold them too. So fun!
What we did for Valentine's Day...
Candy for each of the kids and then a bunch of sweets to eat together.
They were happy with the treats/candy.
The kids made the cutest valentine's for each other. Here's Sofie's:
She wrote very thoughtful messages to each member of the family.
Noah wrote nice messages too.
Kira gave cute origami too.

See the cotton ball in his ear. He ended up with a painful ear infection.
So we went to the doctor. He made airplanes out of paper towels while we waited for the doctor.
Thankfully, the medicine helped and he felt better in a day or two.
Archery tournament...Isak is on the left side end.
Nels got me chocolate cake. And I ate a lot of it! So yummy!
Nels and I went on a date after Valentine's day...Noah took the picture...cut me off a bit, so I asked him to try again. :)
We enjoyed steaks at Outback Steakhouse. It was nice to just be with Nels and reconnect.
Sofie and Noah went on a field trip to the Discovery Center. The teacher sent me this cute picture...

I made a goal to make a healthy meal. It was spaghetti squash with ground turkey, black beans and corn. It was surprisingly, delicious and even more surprisingly, Isak and Sofie liked it! Yay!
Sofie set up a tea party for me and Kira to come to. So cute. I just love Sofie's creative play and how she includes others in it.
We drank our "tea" and played Pretty, Pretty Princess. It was fun to be with my cute girls.
Nels finally got a bass guitar that he's been wanting. He found a good deal on Facebook Marketplace. It's been fun to hear him play it and see him enjoying it.
I made it to the temple. Always, nice to be there.

Friday treat...brownies. They seriously ate the whole pan of brownies so fast!! They love brownies.

Sickness. One or more people in our family was sick from Feb 1 - 26! Kira and Noah missed almost two weeks of school! I got sick twice...cold and the throw up flu. Sofie had the throw up flu. Isak had a fever and cough. Nels was the last to get sick with the flu/fever/cough. He even had to cancel an interview because he was so sick. Just a lot of ups and downs and sickness. So when we all got healthy again...I was and am so grateful for our health!!
