Pictures of Our Day

One day I wasn't up for going to playgroup.  I felt a little guilty.  So I decided to make a fun day on my own.  I got this car wash idea from pinterest and put it into action.
Buckets, cars, water and toothbrushes = lots of fun.
They worked on it for a while.  The water and tooth brushes were their favorites.

Pouring water is so fun when you're a toddler.
Kira, "Mom, no more pictures, please.  I'm working here!" haha.
Then we enjoyed a picnic on the lawn.
And some delicious popsicles.

It was a fun time.  They loved doing some different things at home.

Mother's Day!

Mother's Day!  It happened so long ago, it's hard to remember what happened.  haha.  Oh well.  I do remember walking down the stairs and seeing this beautiful banner.  Nels had the kids color pictures and then he wrote the message:  We {heart} Mommy!  Nels said Kira would only use pink and purple on her paper and Isak used all the other markers.  He had to negotiate with Isak to get one or two markers for his part.  haha.  Anyways, my heart melted when I saw the banner.  It made my day!
I tried to get some pictures with the kids.  But I got one or two alone.  I bought this dress from my friend Tiersha.  She sells LulaRoe clothes.  I love this dress and it even has hidden pockets. :)  If you are interested in this clothing line you can find her on Facebook. :)

Finally got a little girl to stand by me. :)  She insists on wearing this pretty but huge pink bow in her hair.  She refuses to wear a matching yellow bow...or even white.
But she makes me laugh and smile and makes me happy to be a mom.
I had to sneak up by Isak to snag a picture with him.  Busy boy.
Isak almost always has a car in his hand(s) too.
And this is the best picture with me and my twins.  At least we are all looking at the camera. :)
Hope you all had a nice Mother's Day!
Oh and really quick...flashback to my first "real" Mother's day...

Winget Park

Apparently, I really like the outfits the kids are wearing because they wear them whenever I am taking pictures.  haha.

I decided to take some pictures while they were at the park one day.  We would go to Winget Park fairly often when we lived in Charlotte.  The kids can do pretty much everything at the playground, so they have a lot of fun.
They rarely need my help.
And they are pretty happy about it.  I love Kira's grin!

Isak is a pretty tough kid.  :)
And goofy too.
He figured out how to climb the ladders.
They say "I see you!"  As they peek through the bars.

Riding the motorcycle.  They can climb on and off by themselves.

Figuring out the twisty ladder.
We were with our friend Jenna and her son Evan.  I tried to get a picture....Evan and Isak are wearing the same shirt!
Bye Winget Park!  We miss you.
