October 11 - Day 4: Dollywood

October 11, Saturday - Day 4 at Dollywood

7:15 a.m. we packed and cleaned the cabin.  We got out the door at 9:20 and took a couple pics before we left:

So many people at the park again.  The kids (except for Noah) rode Mystery Mine.  We waited 1 hour for Big Bear Mountain and that was with the timesaver pass!  

We walked around the park and I took some pictures:

Then we all rode the carousel, train and elephant ride.  Noah rode a bear on the carousel instead of the bench!  Yay!

Nels found a chicken to ride on!  😂

Then we enjoyed the train together:

Noah, Nels and Sofie decided to go on the raft ride!  And they got soaked!  

I went on Drop Line with Isak and Kira.  

And we got some pictures together.

We had a pumpkin shake and then we left for home!  I drove the whole 3.5 hours.  We finished listening to Wizard of Oz.  Yay!  We got Domino's pizza for dinner.  So glad we went and glad to be home too!

October 10 - Day 3: Dollywood

October 10, Friday - Day 3 at Dollywood

I had a tummy ache.  Noah didn't want to go to Dollywood.  So Noah and I stayed at the cabin.  Isak, Kira, Sofie and Nels went to Dollywood from about 9:15 a.m. to 3 or so.  

I took some pics of Nels, Sofie and Isak while we waited for Kira to finish getting ready.

While they were gone, Noah and I played a round of pinball.  He totally beat me.

Noah read a story to the bears. :)

Then we went outside and explored.  

We collected some items and started to make a house for the squirrels.  

Here's the sign for the cabin.  Then we walked up that road that's a dead end street.

So pretty.

We collected leaves and acorns, sticks and other items.  We enjoyed our time together.

Then we took some pictures and 

rocked in the rocking chairs.

Nels sent me a few pics...

They rode Lightening Rod and Isak got a T-shirt for his souvenir.

Festival Fall Food:

Sofie got a snake for her souvenir.  They had a good time at the park.

Then we had some hot tub time:

I watched from a rocking chair: 

Isak came and snuggled with me after the hot tub.  

Sofie and Noah stayed and spent time with Dad in the hot tub.  

We played some corn hole.

And ate some cupcakes.

I didn't eat all day because of my stomach ache, but I wasn't going to miss eating at Fuddrucker's!

I got the 1/2 lb burger with mushrooms and bacon.  

Nels got the "I'm not a Chicken" shirt from Dollywood's ride the Eagle for his souvenir.  

I ended up paying so Isak could do this game for real.

Then we did a fire in the fire pit. 

We roasted marshmallows and starbursts and ate s'mores.  

Nels played the guitar and we hung out for a while.  

I wrote in the guestbook:

And that's the end of Day 3.
