October 9 - Day 2: Dollywood

October 9, Thursday - Day 2 at Dollywood:

We had breakfast - eggs, ham, cheese, english muffins.  We were able to leave around 9 a.m.  It was a good day at Dollywood with Nels's friend Clark and his two kids, Addison and Brody.  The only not so good thing was the loooooong lines!  Here's some pictures of our day:

Addison, Isak, Brody in back and Kira.  We split up for some rides.  They were waiting for Mystery Mine.  

I rode Eagle with Addison and Isak.  Then I hung out with Noah. 

We found this cute bear that has a magnet and sits on your shoulder.

The lines were so long and Noah and I didn't want to wait in them.  So we found a spot and sat at a table and relaxed for a bit.  

We walked around the park and took fun pictures.

Then Noah and I went to a show at 2 p.m. called Heidi and Kin.  It was nice to sit and be entertained.  :)  It was a good half hour show.  

Then we met up with the others and ate some food.  Stuffed sweet potato for me.  :)

Noah picked out a little bear and got it made up at the store.  So cute.  He picked out the courage heart and put it in his bear that he named Waffles.

Kira chose a baby eagle and put a kindness heart in it.  She named her eagle...Baby Cinnamon Bread.  :)

We went on the elephant ride.

Noah tried this cute hat on.

I ended up finding a Dollywood sweatshirt and buying it.  Yay!  It's gray with butterflies on it.  

Then we waited an hour or so for Dragon Fly - a 45 second ride.  Clark and Nels:

Then we waited 2 hours for Big Bear Mountain ride!  Addison talked and talked with me and I really enjoyed it.  Definitely, helped the time go by faster.  Brody and Sofie joked and teased each other so that was fun to watch too.  

After Big Bear, we raced to buy some cinnamon bread before they closed....quick picture on the way.

We made it just in time.  

Then we headed to the exit with our tired feet!

We all ate a late dinner at Cookout.  Sadly, the milkshake made me sick later.  :(

We got back to the cabin at 11 p.m. and went to bed!
