Happy Mother's Day! We all went to church. Noah was a gentleman and opened the doors for me. :)
We took some pictures...
I'm so grateful to a be a mom to these four kids! So many years hoping and praying for them and now they are here. I'm trying to enjoy all of the things. But honestly, being a mom is the hardest, most exhausting thing I've ever done! It increases my gratitude for my mom! And all moms!
Sofie's face is the reality of the "fun" of taking photos. haha.
Here's my dress I got on Amazon. I like that it's long to hide my fluorescent white legs. Haha.
After naps, we went on a family adventure. We loaded up the bikes and went to the Cason Lane Trailhead. We biked 4.5 miles.
Sofie brought along her panda. :)

Nels took this pic...he got all 5 of us in it.
Noah and I biked together most of the time. He was good natured and fun. We sang "ride my bike" to the tune of Jingle Bells. Each of the kids came back for a few minutes to ride by me and Noah. 💛 I loved our bike ride. It was my first long bike ride since my surgery last year. Nels grilled us burgers and corn. I did sweet potatoes in the air fryer. Yummy dinner.
Kira gave me lots of cards during the day and a plant from school. Sofie gave me a card too. Noah wrote me a little note. Sofie and Noah hid their cards and we played hot and cold to find it. Isak gave me lots of hugs and said sweet things to me all day. Oh and Sofie and Noah gave me their projects they made in kindergarten. "You are my sunshine". The O in You is their handprint. And then they answered questions about me. Funny ones...Noah answered favorite food: lettuce. haha!
and My mom likes to say, "it's dinner time." Sofie answered - my mom likes to cook olive pizza. When she's tired she takes a nap. And my mom likes to say, "You're the sweetest panda girl." 💜 I loved reading their answers.
Here's Noah's note for me...

It was a very nice Mother's Day and I appreciated everyone's efforts to make it special for me.
