Wrap up for April

Just relaxing one morning.  "playing" together.
I remember sending this picture to my mom with the caption, "The babies have taken over my house!"  My mom has a great perspective and basically said, "what a great life you have."  And I agree with her.  I love our babies even if it means baby things are all over the living room in an attempt to entertain them.  Just look at them swinging and looking at a book.  So cute!
Double Superman!
I had to capture this cute girl sticking her thumb in her mouth with all the rest of her fingers completely straight.  Melts my heart.  She doesn't suck on her thumb very often...so the dentists reading this don't need to worry.  :)
Isak's big grin playing in the jumper/activity center.
I don't remember where we were going, but the babies were so happy.  I had to take a picture.
Nels pretending to help Kira walk.  Maybe in a couple of months, but she was pretty young to be doing that.
We bought Kira this onesie that says, "I love to smile."  It's perfect for her!
My good looking boy loves to smile too.

Backyard Fun

Spring here in Memphis has been on the colder side with lots of rainy days.  So when we finally had a warm afternoon the babies and I went out in the backyard for a few minutes.  Here's some pictures.

Baby Boy with baseball hat...a little sideways. :)

Baby Girl trying to figure things out.

A few of them together.  I was trying to get a picture with both of them smiling.
It seems like they took turns smiling in one picture and not in the next.

I think this is the best one with half smiles. :)

A Sunday Afternoon

After church one Sunday, Nels humored me and took pictures.
I think he liked them. :)

My boys. :)
Kira frowning...it's as cute as her smile.
I just love her dress!

I think Nels came and made faces at them.  He's great at getting them to smile!  I truly need a better camera. My ipad is handy, but the babies move soooo fast.  My pictures always turn out blurry.  I hate that!  So any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
They look at each other now...on purpose.  I love that.

Great Sunday.

Isak's First Haircut

April 18th was a big day for our little Isak.  A lot of his hair fell out.  So half was short and half was long.  We decided to trim it up and make it even.  I have no clue what I'm doing!  Poor boy.

Before:
Nels was the photographer with my iPad.
Doesn't his face say, "What are you doing mom?"
All done!  So handsome. :)

5 Months!

"What?  We're 5 Months old??"
My sister Mandi made the beautiful headband and tie.  I love them.  Thanks Mandi!!!
Here's Kira Daisy at 5 months old!
Kira rolled over for the first time on April 2nd.  She loves tummy time and likes to do the Superman.  Kira also learned to giggle and oh, my is it cute!  Dad is her favorite.  When she sees him, she just lights up!
Isak rolled over from his back to his tummy on March 28.  He kind of rolled over in his crib.  Then he full on rolled over while I was washing bottles!  I missed it!  But no worries, he's a pro and does it all the time.  He loves to get stuck.  He'll put his legs under the coffee table and then cry when he can't get out.  So funny.  He loves kisses on his cheek.  He smiles a lot more!  Yah!
So handsome. :)
I think this is a funny face,  "Am I in trouble?"  heehee.

Getting taller Kira.

I love this picture.

Um, I don't know how Isak is so tall!
Isak doing the crane from Karate Kid.
Look at them coordinating their moves!!
I love Kira's expression here.  She just seems content and happy.

Their backsides. :)
Happy 5 Months.
