July 16: Hiking the "G"

July 16 - Wednesday:

We woke up early so we could hike the "G" in cooler weather.  Melissa and my crew had a great time hiking up the steep trail to the letter G.

Such a pretty place, so I took advantage and took some photos of the kids.

Then up the steep trail we went!

We made it!

Melissa and I enjoyed the view.

Then we went down the mountain.  There was less complaining on the way down, and Melissa's candy canes helped too!

Melissa let me borrow her walking sticks and they helped my feet a lot.

So glad we went on this hike together.  The weather was perfect too.
