Day 4 & 5 - Dollywood Again and Last Day - Oct 25, 26

Oct 25 - Wednesday
Day 2 at Dollywood

Such a fun day!  We arrived around 11 a.m and stayed until it closed at 9 p.m.  So many rides.  No waits.  Just lots of fun.  Here's the pics.
Trolley from parking lot to the park.

One of the heaviest pumpkins.  A little over a 1,000 lbs!!
Noah led the way to one of his favorite rides... Rockin' Roadway.

Bob had a car just like this when he was young.
Far Mor rode with Isak.
The girls rode together.
I only got a video and not a pic...but Noah and Far Far rode together.
And that meant that Nels and I got to ride together!
More teacups.  I tried to make sure Noah had lots of rides this time.
Carousel...

I went on the Wild Eagle with the big kids.  Isak was so sweet and held my hand.  :)
Look how happy Kira is... :)
Great ride.
I went on Fire Chaser Express with the kids too.

There's Sofie and Nels in the last cart.

We listened and watched the Bird show.

And we got the delicious cinnamon bread.  Mmmmm.
Around 4 p.m., Bob and Donna left for the cabin.  It was fun to ride a few rides with them though!

Shooting Star for the girls.
There was a little section for little kids and Noah loved all of the rides there.  Kira and Sofie kindly went on the rides with him.
He was a happy duck.  :)
We even did bumper cars.
Meanwhile, Nels and Isak did some big rides.  Isak rode the rapid ride by himself.  And yep, he got wet just like we warned him.  But he really wanted to do it.  He eventually dried, but he didn't complain.  :)
Noah became an expert at riding Dumbo.
We did the Carousel as a family.

Then we did everyone's last favorite rides.  So the bear ride for Noah.

Big Bear, Dragon Fly, Dropline and Tree Tower.
Pretty tree.
Pretty lights.
And then we said our sad good byes to Dollywood.  We really enjoyed our time together there.  We ate a late dinner at Cookout.  Then went back to the cabin.

Oct. 26 - Thursday
We packed up and left the cabin around 10 a.m.  We stopped on our way out to eat breakfast at Smoky Mountain Pancake House.

I barely got to enjoy my breakfast because Noah spilled water all over his clothes and Sofie almost threw up twice.
After breakfast, I drove us home for the four hours.  Poor Noah ended up actually throwing up.  Thankfully, he got it all in the bowl and waited patiently until we got to a gas station.

We made it back home!  We unpacked and relaxed.  Nels got us pizza for dinner.

Oct. 27 - Friday.
I slept in!  Yay!  Just a relaxing day.  Played some games.
Isak and Far Far mowed the lawn.
Nels took his parents on a tour of Murfreesboro.  They ended at a park to play with their RC cars.  :) We grilled burgers for dinner.

Nels took his parents to the airport the next morning.  It was fun to have them be with us for a few days!
And that's the end of our vacation and visitors for October 2023.
