November 12- 23 Moments
Cute Sofie loves purple and wearing her hair in two braids. :)
Noah built this cool Jeep.7th Grade Band: Kira is in the middle on the front row.
Cute Sofie ready for dance and wearing her new leg warmers.
Sofie and Noah built this fort.
Cute girls walking to the neighbors house to play.
November 16, Sunday:
We took a walk to enjoy the beautiful fall weather and leaves. We walked about three miles at Barfield park. We had a lovely time. I took a lot of pictures:
Kira with the gold leaves! 💛
Just beautiful!
My new 13 year olds!
On our way back, we found a lost doggy. We helped the dog get to the Wilderness Station at the park. It was cute to see the kids interact with the dog.
We hope he is ok. He was a very nice dog.
We read scriptures together as a family at night. Sometimes it's hard to gather everyone, but it's always worth it.
November 18 - For primary activity days, we taught the girls to sew a Christmas pillowcase. I mostly helped Kira and Sofie.
Ta da!

November 19, Wednesday:
Noah had a specialist eye appointment with Dr. Taylor Tucker at Vanderbilt Eye Center. It was a good appointment, very thorough.
They dilated his eyes. His brain has "turned off" seeing for his left eye. That's why it turns in, but his glasses help correct 90% of the turning in. His vision will be about the same as it is now. Patching may help a little more, but his eye is about as good as it is going to get. Surgery will not help and they said vision eye therapy won't help either. It is what it is.

Because his eyes were dilated he couldn't see very well. So we got some donuts and went home for the rest of the day.
This is the tree lined streets I drive down to get home. I really enjoy it in the fall.
They also did their version of the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade and made "balloons" for the parade.
Sofie made a Panda "balloon."
Noah made a bear "balloon."
Cute Kira and Isak. 13 now! Still wrapping my head around it.
Nels and I went to a friend's house for Pie Night. We ate lots of different pies, talked with friends and played Blank Slate. We had a good time.

On my way to the temple I noticed the "Tennessee Snow," cotton fields.
I enjoyed going to the temple Friday, November 21, 2025
Sofie dressed up for the last day of school before Thanksgiving Break. Her class did a tree lighting.

November 22 - Saturday
Xavier and Isak did service with Greenhouse Ministry. They helped people "shop" for their Thanksgiving dinner. It was a good experience. But we felt like they had way too many volunteers. So we only stayed two hours.
They had the Chick-fil-A cow and Santa.
They did a good job serving.
Sunday pictures.
Our neighbor Mary is moving and she didn't want to take her grill, so she gifted it to us. And it's a very nice grill! So thankful. We grilled food and had her over for dinner.
That's all for November 12 - 23, 2025
