June 4 & 5 - Dollywood - Day 4 & 5

June 4, Wednesday:
We got all ready and out the door for our last day at Dollywood.  We arrived right when they opened at 10 am and stayed until 8 pm.

The girls wore their matching cherry shirts!  So cute!

We used our timesaver pass for Thunderhead.  Then to Dragonfly for me and the kids to ride.  Noah and I rode treetop while we waited for the others to ride Thunderhead.
Sofie, Kira and Noah played in the indoor playground.
We went souvenir shopping.  We gave the kids a little budget and then they shopped and chose something.  They love to do this!
Noah liked the hat, but only got the stuffed bear and named him "Scratch."
Nels got this hat. :)
We got chocolate covered bananas.

Took some butterfly photos.

Sofie, Kira and Noah hung out with me a lot.  And Isak and Nels rode a lot of rides together.

We liked the rainbow decor...those are pool noodles!

We spent money on food today.  Isak wanted this hot dog with potatoes like he got one time.  We also got Honey garlic chicken with potatoes, steak queso wrap, blueberry pie shake, steak nachos, bbq spicy chicken on mac and cheese.  We got a festival food pass.  It was fun to try all the different food, but the serving sizes were very small!
We met up and did the Rockin' Roadway ride.

We rode it twice.

More shopping.  Kira didn't get the hat, but she looks cute.  :)
Sofie chose this monkey and named her "Lulu."

Kira chose a "build a stuffy"  a cardinal she named "Apple."

Carousel:

Dumbo:
Teacups:
Kira and Sofie rode Shooting Star together.  Noah and I watched.
Dad and Nels rocked the roller coasters!

We rode the raft ride twice for Noah. :)  So we all got wet again.  :)

They rode Whistler Punk.
Nels rode Drop Line with Isak.
A worker gave Isak and Nels a re-entry pass to use on any ride because Isak was so nice and polite!!  We used it on Big Bear Mountain.  Noah waited for us, so everyone else could ride.  Nels and I got to ride it together.  It was a nice moment.  Then we raced to Dragonfly and that was our last ride.

Other things:  I rode Thunderhead, and it was terrible, fast and jerky.  I injured my left shoulder.  I couldn't raise my arm up!  It hurt really bad, but got better after a few days.

Noah got some bug bites?!  We went to the First Aid station and they gave us itch cream that worked really well.

Kids can ride some of the rides by themselves.  Sofie, Kira and Isak all rode Barnstormer without an adult.  They are just getting older and more independent.

Isak chose a snake for his souvenir.  He named it "Avocado."
It was a great day of rides, food and fun.  We all enjoyed being together.  The kids went into the hot tub before bed.
June 5, Thursday:
We packed...and took a few last pictures.  The cabin worked very well for us.
Here's Isak and Noah on their bunk beds.
It was a great place for us.
We got home at 12:30 and were able to unpack and get a few things done.  It was a nice trip!
