Before we put our house on the market, we made a long list of repairs that needed to be done on our house and things that needed special attention. Then we got to work!
The front door handle was not working, so Nels replaced the handle. The ceiling in the fifth bedroom needed painted and the 1/2 bathroom needed to be painted. Nels did that too. I cleaned a lot and started to declutter. We weeded and mulched the landscaping too.
We organized the basement and staged the house so it looked all right. Here's some pictures. :)
This is what the house looked like when we moved into it 4 years ago.
We refinished the floors and stairs and painted. I think it looks so much better! Here's the fifth bedroom/guest room/Nels's guitar room. :)
The above photo was taken by me and the below photo is by the professional photographer...can you tell a difference. 😂

If only our house actually stayed this clean...haha.

And here's the sign to officially say our house is for sale!
Thankfully, our house sold in 5 days. The loan processor waived the appraisal so we didn't have to have one. The inspection came back and the new owner did not require any repairs. 👏 We closed on the house in 45 days instead of 30 which was great because we needed a place to live for as long as possible! We put a lot of work into this house. It seemed like every time we turned around there was something broken or needed replaced. But our little kids grew up for 4 years here and we have wonderful memories of this house. We will miss it! 😢
