Nels took Tuesday April 11 off. So our visitors and all of us Nyborg's drove 1.5 hours to San Francisco to explore for the day. Our first stop was to see the Full House-house. :)
Traffic and getting around and parking was crazy. I was so glad Nels was driving. We went to Fisherman's Wharf next. What a fun place!
We ate lunch at Bubba Gump. It was a pretty cool restaurant. I tried shrimp again and I still don't like it. Isak did pretty well with the seafood.
Sofie, Noah and Kira liked the french fries.
Run Forrest Run. Look at that cute Noah boy!Noah didn't like the stroller too much. We shopped and bought our magnet. We then took a short walk to Pier 39 to see all of the sea lions.
Then we hustled back to the car before the meter ran out of time. Next we drove across the Golden Gate Bridge. We took some pictures at the vista point. It was super windy.
Then we drove back across the bridge and went to Ghirardelli Square. We ate and bought chocolate.
By then it was 5:30 p.m. So our little family left while the rest ate at Cheesecake Factory. We hit traffic just right as we drove right through downtown San Fran. I sat in the back of the van and tried to keep four kids happy during stop and go traffic during dinner time. It took us almost two hours to get home. We grabbed McDonald's and then quickly put everyone to bed by 8:30. It was a great day, but exhausting! :)
Wednesday April 12- Jenny cut Isak, Kira and my hair. We had a leisurely morning. Dad made us pancakes and sausage for lunch. Everyone cleaned up and then left around 2 p.m.
We took a photo before everyone left. :)So glad they came to visit us. We had a great time and I enjoyed being with them and making new memories.
