Sept 28 - Thursday. Nels took the day off. It was picture day for the kids. So after their pictures we took off to the aquarium.
Do you see Kira and Isak? Kira is on the far right on the bottom row. Isak is on the second row third one from the left...blue and white striped shirt.
We ate lunch at Coco's Bakery. I got the pancakes with strawberries. Mmmm. Then we enjoyed a couple of hours at the aquarium. We did a few things we had never done before. Like the shark project presentation, the bird exhibit and the kelp exhibit.
Hiding in the egg was fun.
Even Sofie gave it a try.
We were also excited to find hermit crabs!
And of course we had to see the jellyfish.
Nels had said he just wanted to sit by himself outside for a bit to take in the view. So we made sure he got to do that.
It was a short minute though, and then he had visitors.

See...Nels by himself with the view. It literally lasted less than a minute. But hey, he enjoyed it. :)
Then we walked Cannery Row. Nels shopped for a shirt and found one. Yay! Then we ate dinner at Gianni's Pizza one last time.
This is Sofie sitting on the bench like a big kid. She did not want to sit in the high chair!
It was our last trip to the aquarium because our season pass expired and we're moving to Chicago. It was a great outing. I'm glad we went!
