October Wrap Up

I thought it was about time to wrap up October since it's December now.  Oh October.  It's Nels's Birthday Month and yes, we celebrate the whole MONTH.  Haha!  It's always fun and I think Nels feels pretty special.  :)

So here's all of the random pictures for October.

It's cold enough I put the kids in fleece pj's.  Thank goodness for Costco.  I got all of their pj's for $5.49 a piece.  They were on sale.  Yay!  So here's Kira in Pink and silver polka dots and Isak in mustaches.  Warm and Cozy.
Nels went on a business trip and ate at Five Guys.  He was happy to see the potatoes were from good old St. Anthony, Idaho.
Just loving Kira's girly feet. :)
I cleaned out the closet and found the kids hats.  Kira insisted on wearing it, even though it was warm enough outside for shorts and T-shirts.  She loved the "balls" on the hat.

She wore the hat almost all day!
I made this Reese's Peanut Butter Ice Cream Pie for Nels's Birthday.  Everyone loved it.
A Halloween photo...

My sweet Mom sent me a kit to make these cute gifts.
"Isak go stand by Kira."  And this is where he stood.   haha.
"A little closer, please."   Sure that works.  Love these two kiddos.
Playing with Charlotte.
Isak found this Toys R Us ad and spent a good half hour looking at it, pointing at the pictures of toys and making sure I looked too.  Does he know Christmas is coming?? haha.
Love her smile.
I just thought Kira looked so cute in her Sunday dress and red shoes.  I had to take a few pictures.
Daddy helped get some smiles.
And laughs.
Perfect picture.  Love it!
Isak felt left out.  He picked up the soccer ball and stood against the wall.  And said, "cheese."

Oh my perfect baby boy.
My friend Tiersha and I made some Halloween wreaths.  This is how mine turned out.
It was fun to make.
Kira wearing her hat again.  And I love how they put the puzzles together on their little table.
They found their pumpkin bags and started to practice for the big night.  haha.
Kira is just a happy girl.  You can just barely see Nels in the corner coming to get her... :)
And this is the last of the October pictures.

Happy Halloween!

Finally, some Halloween pictures!  We had the best Halloween.
Here's some pictures.
Here's our little toddlers.  Batman and Minnie Mouse.
My friend Tiersha let us borrow the Minnie Mouse dress and I found some ears that matched.  Yay.
I made a cape for Isak and put his Batman T-shirt on.  Not too creative, but that silly cape took me way too long to make.  Oh well, memories, right??  Isak accessorized by adding glasses.  Haha.
Nels commented, "Oh, my little rodents."  It took me a while to get his joke...a bat and a mouse.  Ohhhh.
We had our friends Josh, Tiersha and their daughter Charlotte over for Pizza.  It's our tradition to have donuts and cider, just like my grandma.  Mmmm. donuts.  It's so fun to pick out 12 donuts.
Our little triplets. :)
Isn't Charlotte's cat costume adorable!  Kira didn't want to wear her ears. :(
Aren't Isak and Charlotte so cute together! heehee.
I hurried and put Kira's ears on and as you can see I am holding her arms down.  That isn't a smile on her face....she's about ready to scream.  Ah!
I dressed warm; Nels wore his Hawaiian clothes.  We can be so opposite sometimes!
Trick or Treating.  Our first stop was across the street to our neighbor who the kids are familiar with.
I have to say, I loved trick or treating in a neighborhood where you Walk to the houses!  It was sooooo fun.  Growing up in Idaho, we drove 10 minutes to each house...at least that's what it seemed like and it always seemed to snow on Halloween!
Love these two pictures of Nels and Isak walking along together.
Such a cutie!
We ended the night by letting the kids eat candy.  3 Musketeers was Isak's favorite and Kira enjoyed the Skittles and Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.

Hope you had a Spooky Fun Halloween!
Boo!

Our "Annual" Bike Ride

Back in October we took our "annual" bike ride.  We did it last year, so now it's an annual thing. :)
We started at Freedom Park and biked the Sugar Creek Greenway.  We went South this year instead of North.  Here's a few pictures of our adventure:
Freedom Park is HUGE.  Here's one of the ponds with a fountain.
Snacks and books kept the kids pretty happy.

Selfie.
I just love bridges and nature together.
The trail has art along the way.  Here's a carving in a tree stump.  I'm trying to be like the carving.
"Hi babies!"
Afterwards, we had a delicious peanut butter sandwich picnic.

Frown.
Smile. haha.
Freedom park has some fun play areas.
And a train.
There's our bikes parked while we ate our lunch.
We let the kids play on the playground for a while.  They loved it, but Kira was getting tired.  So I took her to the swings.  Usually, she lights up when she is in the swing.  But she was tired.
But I did finally get her to give me one of her million dollar smiles!
It was one of those perfect days where the weather was perfect, the kids and adults were happy and it was a fun activity.  We look forward to next year. :)
