July 20 - 31 Moments

Last weeks of July:

The boys thought they'd try my workout.  😂

They did the lego rainbow puzzle again.

I took Kira shopping.  She got this cute jacket.

Nels's custom guitar finally came and it is beautiful.  I think he likes it.  

Kira showed the kids all of the stuff she got from Girls Camp.  :)

Noah and I did his kiwi yummy crate together.  

He helped chop and make a pasta salad and some avocado aioli.

He didn't like the food, but enjoyed making it with me.  I sure enjoyed the salad and the aioli on my BLT.

I love how Sofie matches her doll Samantha.  :)

We did swim lessons July 22 - August 2.  

Sofie and Noah did swim level 2.  Kira did swim level 3.  Their lessons were from 10-10:50 a.m.

Then Isak was in swim level 4 and had his lesson from 11:00 - 11:50 a.m.  It took up our mornings for two weeks.  

But I'm very happy with all of their progress!  Each of them improved and enjoy the water more than at the beginning of the lessons.  

Noah - we bought him goggles that cover his eyes and nose.  Now he's a fish!  He swims around with his head under the water and loves it!  He does great with his back float.  He loves to jump into the pool too!  So happy for him!

Sofie - She is confident with her back float, front float and she can hold her breath for a long time under water too.  She jumped off the diving board with no floaties and swam to the edge.  She's a pro at going down the slide too.  

Kira - She got a lot better at her backstroke and freestyle.  She's more confident and she's a speedy swimmer.  

Isak - He loved being challenged.  His whole class time was spent in the 13 ft deep side.  He learned new strokes, like the butterfly and breaststroke...dolphin kick...I think.  Isak is super confident in the water.  And does very well.

I'm so proud of all of them for being brave and trying new things!

Kira had wanted to make banana pudding.  So we found a recipe and made it up.

We moved Isak's bed to the 5th bedroom and the couch to the family room.  So now each of the kids have their own room.  The kids like the couch in the family room.  I found them like this and had to take a picture!!

Kira had a Rockvale Middle School experience day.  They gave her a tour of the school and talked about what middle school will be like this year.

We went to Red Robin for my birthday burger.  Yum!

So that's the end of July!  Door County, swim lessons, my birthday, girls camp, prepping for school.  Thankful for the memories we made this summer.  💜
