Kari's Visit!!

My sister Kari and her husband Jared came to visit us!!  Yay!  It's always fun to have family with us.  They brought 5 of their 6 kids.  Brynlee, Mason, Sadie and their twins, Kaden and Khloe,

They arrived just in time for dinner on Friday night.  We had spaghetti and meatballs.  I made zucchini noodles for Kari to try.  :)
Sofie and Khloe hanging out together.  Sofie wanted to be Khloe's friend so much.  She was happy to have her here.
Look at the colors of that sunset!!!  We went to a park and played for a bit after dinner.
I tried to get a pick with all the kids in it.

Sadie and Kira became quick friends.
Sofie and Khloe on the stairs.
Saturday - Kari's family went to Raging Waves.  They had a little rain, but overall had a great time!  We watched Kaden and Khloe.  Six kids under six.  Four - 3 year olds!!  It was exhausting.  haha!!  We did try to have some fun though.  We tied yarn to two chairs and then put a straw on it.  We blew up a balloon, taped it to the straw and let go of the balloon.   Many times the attached balloon flew across the yarn.  It was great fun.  Then we just blew up balloons and played with them.
Here's six kids eating lunch.
After Kari got back, we went to Portillo's for dinner.  Here's Kaden with Isak and Kira.
Sadie jumped in too.
Sofie was sad she missed the picture.  So I took one of just her.  Do you like the outfit Sofie picked out?

After Portillo's we went to a park until the sun went down.
Sofie and Khloe happened to have matching pajamas!! So fun!
Noah warmed up to Mason.  Mason was pretty proud of it!
Sunday - All 13 of us went to church.  Everyone did pretty well.  We took some pictures right after church.
I tried to get one with the four three year olds.  Khloe doesn't like her picture being taken.  Kari tried really hard to escape!
Jared bribed them with candy and that helped.  😀

Mason took our picture.
And then the older ones...Sofie and Noah snuck in.
We napped a little.  Then we made some brownies and dinner.  We planned their Chicago trip.  Then we played the washer game - girls vs. boys.  The boys won on a technicality...we actually called my dad to make the final decision.  Then Jared and I played it twice. We each won once.  We had a nice day and fun conversation.  We asked the question, what would you rather have ice cream, cookies or brownies?  Tough one, huh?!  haha!
