BYU Baseball Game

Nels thought it would be fun to take the family to a BYU Baseball game.  I was a little nervous to take the whole family to a fairly long event, but the kids did pretty well.  Yay.

I love how the mountains are such a beautiful backdrop.
Lollipops help pass the time.
My boys.
This is Isak looking up at Cosmo the Cougar.
And there is Cosmo.
He even waited and let us take a pic with him.  Kira was scared.
I asked the people in front of us to take our pic.  Kira was not in a good picture taking mood...not too surprised about that. haha.
Daddy treated the kids to some snow cones.  They each got to pick their own color.  Kira chose purple. And Isak chose half blue and half red.
It was nice and refreshing.
33.5 weeks along here.
Yummy.  We all got a little sunburned.  I totally forgot sunscreen.  I didn't even think about it!
The kids were nice enough to share the snowcones .  It did rain a little, but I did remember jackets.  So we were able to stay and watch the whole game.  Sadly, BYU lost to San Diego.  The score was 13 to 7.
It was a fun outing and wore someone out. :)  I love how his little hands are folded.

March Wrap Up

Here we go. March random picture wrap up.

Kira and her horses.  Horse pajamas, horse shirts, horse coloring books...anything with horses is a big hit with Kira.  Here she is in her horse pj's and doctoring her horse first thing in the morning.
A 28 week belly.
So they are doing a ton of construction behind our house.  It's loud and annoying. But this little boy loves it.  He perches at the window and watches with fascination at all of the big construction vehicles.  He gets his own out and plays while he watches.
We went to the Springville Easter Egg Hunt this year.  It was at the high school football field.  There was candy all over the field and when the bell rang the kids ran.  Here's a pre-run photo of Isak and...
Kira.
They each got about 7 pieces, which is perfect.
And a big piece went into this little girls mouth right away.
We said hi to the Easter Bunny.  Although, the kids were scared and didn't want to get their picture taken with him.
We saw Marci Crawford.  We met her family while we were in Southaven, MS.  So we all got together for a quick picture. It was fun to chat and catch up with her and her 3 girls.
Nels and I went on a date!  Yes, we paid a babysitter again and went out.  It was so nice.  We tried a new place on Center Street called Good Thyme.  Fresh, yummy food.
My handsome date:
I really enjoyed the chicken panini sandwich.
Then we walked to this little ice cream shop.
They make their own ice cream their too!
Almost 30 weeks here.  And the babies loved the ice cream.
Swinging at Bicentennial Park.
We went to a new park for the kids called Kiwanis Park.
I finally finished Isak's quilt.  He was pretty happy! :)  Made it worth all of the time.
My little book worm.  I love how her hand is propped up on her cheek.  So sweet.
I started doing weekly non-stress tests at the hospital at 32 weeks.  Fun, fun.  I just did my last one though on May 5.  Yay.
Working together to build the design on the card with the blocks.
And that's all for March.  I'm trying to get all caught up before the babies are born...but it might not happen.

Happy Easter Sunday!

Here's some pictures of the kids in their new Easter Sunday clothes.  Kira loved her dress.  Phew!  She said she was a ballerina.  And Isak loved his suit.  Thank you Costco for having cute, affordable clothes!

I didn't know if I would get pics after church, so I snapped these first two before church.
So handsome.
But everyone was nice and let me take a gazillion more pictures after church.  These are my favorites.

Love that they actually listened when I asked them to give Daddy a kiss!

Tried for family selfie.  Yes, Isak can wink...so cute.
Kira still has a hard time looking at the camera, but we snuck one in.
2 days shy of 32 weeks.

Still love this handsome man!  :)  He is wonderful.

We had the Nyborg family over for Easter dinner.  We provided the ham, dessert and corn on the cob and everyone else brought some sides.  I thought it was all delicious and turned out well.

Sadly, with all the cooking and cleaning and church going we didn't have time for an egg hunt.  We did one a week or two later.

Last one of my handsome son.
And beautiful daughter.  Glad I got a good grin from her! :)
Hope you all had a wonderful Easter!

St. Patrick's Day

Do you remember when I took these pictures of the twins 3 years ago for St. Patrick's Day?
 Aren't they soooo cute?!

I thought it would be fun to reenact the pics.  Haha!  Um, no one else thought it was fun.
Poor Kira was soooooo mad at me.  Probably because the wig smelled old and was smashed from being in a rubber maid bin for three years.  Isak handled it a lot better because I was bribing them to do pictures for a treat.
I still got a few cute pictures.
Kira tried really hard because she wanted a treat.
But she was pretty miserable.

She tried to smile here...
"Are we done yet?"
"Grrrrr...."
Best one...they are both smiling...ish...

And we threw the wig away after the photo shoot.  Poor kids...the things they do for their mother...and a treat.
Hope you had a lovely St. Patrick's Day. :)
