4 Months

4 months old March 11, 2013
Here's Isak at 4 months old:
At his 4 month appointment these were his stats:
Weight: 13 lbs. 8 oz.
Height: 25 inches
Isak began to smile a lot more at this age.
Together for the picture:
Yah!  Isak is smiling!
I love Isak's little hand on his thigh.  It looks like these two are talking with each other.
At 4 months old they also began to notice each other more.  When they lay next to each other they will look at each other and smile and coo.  Before they would just ignore the existence of another child. ha ha.
Kira's pics:
Here's her stats from her 4 month appointment:
Weight: 11 lbs. 15 oz.
Height:  23.5 inches
Such a happy baby girl.
Look how tall he is!
Together...I remember when I took these pictures they were moving their arms and legs up and down so fast it was hard to get a picture!

Kira
Silly girl.  She loves to suck on her lip/tongue.

Oh, babies!  I just love you both!

Babies in Bumbo seats looking at a book.
I love this pink shirt of Kira's.
Kira's face cracks me up.
Isak is ready for the rodeo!
Or maybe Isak will be an Elvis impersonator.
Daddy shirt day...Isak's shirt says "Daddy's Little Guy."  and Kira's shirt says, "My heart belongs to Daddy."
Just chillin' while eating.
Nels and Isak doing yoga.  :)
Trying out the stroller.  Isak is ready to rock and roll, but Kira looks a little apprehensive.
Nels holding his babies.
I think this is the first time I captured the babies holding hands.  Aw, how sweet!

And that wraps up February!

Blessing Day

On Sunday February 24, 2013 we finally blessed the babies.  What a special day!  I loved seeing my husband bless the babies.  I'm so grateful for this day.  For a while I thought it would never happen for us.  But the Lord has blessed us with our miracles.  I'm so grateful for our Savior, for the atonement and His sacrifice that has made all of this possible.

Nels's parents came down for the blessing.  I'm so glad they came.  Donna (Nels's Mom) bought Isak his blessing outfit.  I love the little vest and bow tie.  Kira wore the dress I made in a children's sewing class at Ricks (BYU-Idaho).  We sat on the very first row in the chapel.  The babies did really well.  Isak only cried a little at the beginning and end of his blessing.  Kira didn't cry at all.  I took notes during the blessings.  Here's just one thing from each blessing I would like to share:
Isak:
Learn to have mercy on those less fortunate, both temporally and spiritually.
Kira:
Continue to be amiable and give smiles of joy to those around you.

We were all hungry and tired after church...but we had to take a few pictures.  :)

I love little Kira's hand..."Stop!  No more pictures!"

Far Far and Far Mor with their grand babies.
Generation picture...3 Nels's
Us girls...
Love Kira's facial expression here:
Princess Kira:
Long, slippery dress.

Oh dear....more pictures...sorry Isak.
We finally got a smile!
Together...Love it!

They are done...

Yep...all done. :)
It was a memorable day.
