Oct. 19 - The Avenues Fall Festival & Krispy Kreme
The kids dressed up and we went to the Annual Fall Festival.
Sofie's panda costume hadn't arrived yet, so we improvised. She wore the crochet panda hat I made for her and then we dressed her like Polly the Panda. :)
Kira said she didn't want a costume...but wanted to wear cute halloween clothes. So we went with a pumpkin shirt and a black fluffy skirt.
I wore my usual bat shirt and witch hat.
Noah was a bear and wore the crocheted hat I made him and a brown shirt.
Isak, also, didn't want to wear a costume, but a fun halloween shirt instead.

Our first stop was to Krispy Kreme because we found out that if you get A's you get free donuts! Kira and Isak had just got their term grades - all A's. :) So we went to Krispy Kreme and they gave us a dozen free donuts!
They also let us pick out any flavor donut we wanted and it was free too!
Sofie got a lime slime donut.
Kira got strawberry.
Isak - cookies and cream.
Noah - donut holes
Nels got chocolate with custard frosting and I got a raspberry filled donut.
So fun and yummy!
Then we went to the Avenues to trick or treat at the shops. It's our third year doing it.

New this year was the bubble machine!
We walked around the booths and played the games and took pictures with Olaf.
The kids got lots of candy and had a great time.
Of course, their favorite part is setting up their candy shops.
We even got to play pickleball that evening!
