April Outings!

We got out a little bit in April.  Yay!

One outing was to the library.  We did the story walk around the playground.  So fun to read a story while we walked around together.

Then we went inside and picked out a lot of books and enjoyed the activities they had inside.
Selfie with my honey at the park with the family.

Nels and Isak snuggling.  They both have Fitbit watches.  They like to see who gets the most steps in a day.
Sofie with Koala.
We did some sidewalk chalk.  I made this:
Kira made this for Aunt Britta's birthday.
Isak drew a home for his stuffed animal Polar.
Isak loves this bear.💙
We did a video singing "Happy Birthday" to Aunt Britta.
I love this picture.  Choose Joy.  Because it's a choice.  Sometimes it's easier to feel sad and gloomy.  It takes effort to feel joy, but feels better.  My dad was going through radiation treatments at this time.  He inspired my "Choose Joy" statement.  He's always trying to see the good and has faith that everything will work out.  ðŸ’™
Isak wanted another picture of him and Polar.
Noah and his big Mickey.
Isn't he cute?!
I took this picture after we took the big kids to the bus.  Ready for a fun day...
A bike ride with just Sofie and Noah while the big kids were in school.

Sofie and her bunny.
Noah loves to ride his bike.  We took a sneaky shortcut down a trail to get to Preston park. (the one with the big blue twirly slide)
Spring blossoms!
Another big rock bike ride.

Played at Preston Park for a bit.
Awwww...
I never get tired of seeing the back of these little bikers as they move their little legs up and down as fast they can go.

Noah found a yellow dandelion...he's trying to give it to Sofie.  ðŸ’›
Sofie and Baby Teddy.
Another bike ride to the big rock on a cold day.
Nels came with us!  Extra fun.  :)

We made it to the fairy garden.  Round trip - 3 miles.

Swinging at home.
Randall Square Park.
I love this one!
Here's Noah with his Mickey shirt and PJ mask watch.
Always fun when dad plays.
A bike ride to Peck Farm.

Sweet Kira.

Sweet Sofie.
Creative Isak...a house for Polar.  Notice CatBoy, Kitty and My Little Pony?

We love to have fun at parks, riding bikes, and in our own backyard!

Easter!

 All about our Easter!

Sofie and Kira made these Easter pictures all by themselves.  A watercolor painted egg and a glitter marker bunny scene.

For Primary, we made these Rolo packages with the sign, "The Stone was Rolo-ed away!"

Easter egg coloring page.  I love how Sofie wore her bunny ears.
Another Sofie coloring page.  She drew the teddy bear on the egg.
A friend gave us an Eggmazing egg decoration.   I had some fake eggs for them to use.  It worked great.  The kids had fun and I didn't have to eat 12 hard boiled eggs!

And all of the kids with all of the eggs.
Poor Sofie...I accidentally threw away her drawing for the Easter Bunny.  She found it in the garbage and showed it to me.  Such a sad face.
We had our traditional plastic egg Easter lesson to teach the kids the true meaning of Easter.
The night before Easter I filled 200 eggs.
Here's Sofie's note to the Easter Bunny.  So cute.
Here's what the Easter Bunny left.
The kids LOVED their new stuffed animals.  They lined up for a picture and then the hunt was on.
I LOVED watching them look for eggs.  The joy, laughter and squeals of delight!
Nels made scrambled eggs.  Then I got to work making cinnamon rolls.  It was general conference today too.  I will write about that on the April Sunday's post.  It was a nice Easter.  We enjoyed celebrating and remembering our Savior.
