Sunday's in March

This is one of the Sunday's before church was transitioned to home.  I snuck this picture of Kira saying the sweetest prayer in primary.
Isak and Kira both had their scriptures and looked so cute.  So I had to take pictures of them!
Sofie and Noah ran around while I did it...

I couldn't get a pic of them holding still.

Aren't they so cute?!
The next few Sunday's we had church at home because of the COVID-19 virus.  We tried to make it a nice day.  We even dressed up!  Nels taught Sofie and Noah's class.  I taught Isak and Kira's.  Sofie is holding up the picture she colored in class.

Cute Sofie.
Handsome Isak.
Sweet Kira.
Another Sunday, I came downstairs to find Isak and Kira reading scriptures!!  Best kids ever.  I was so proud of them.  I took their picture.  :)

I taught Sofie and Noah's class...we talked about prayer and I had two bags that they pulled things out of that we would say "Thank thee for..." and "Please bless."  They loved pulling the items out of the bag and we did it a few times.
Kira lost her two front teeth!  I was trying to get a pic of her cute smile!

She likes to stick her tongue through the gap.  :)

Noah wanted a selfie with me.
And the rest of the family indulged me in a family photo.  :)
Happy Sunday's!  They are a little different now, but we are adjusting and grateful to be able to teach the gospel in our home.

Kite Flying!

March 8 was a windy day.  So we went kite flying.  It was pretty fun and the kids liked some of it.  :)
Nels loves kites, so he was pretty excited.
We have a blue and yellow jet and an orange dragon.
Noah didn't like the wind, but liked to observe the kites.
Sofie was thrilled and loved being a part of it.
Everyone, except Noah, took a turn flying the kites.

Our niece Sadie came too, as a flat Stanley.  :)
I love that Sofie grin.
Noah and Dad.
It was fun to watch the kites and the kite flyers.
Then the kids played on the playground for a bit.  See the two kites up in that beautiful blue sky?

It was a fun outing.  I'm glad we made the most of the wind!

1st Grade Concert

On March 2nd, Isak and Kira had the cutest concert!  It was called "When I Grow Up."  They dressed up with their 1st and 2nd grade classes.  They sang songs and did actions to them.  Isak was dressed as a construction worker.  Kira was a nurse.  It was held at the Batavia High School in the auditorium.

Sofie and Noah were pretty good for the 30 minute concert.  I was absolutely amazed and in love with their performance.  I told Nels while we were beaming and watching Isak and Kira, "This is why we had kids!!"  I just LOVED watching them perform!

 Here's the program:
And after the concert pictures.  So proud of them!!

A Birthday Party!

All four kids were invited to a birthday party!  Our sweet neighbors invited us to their five year old's party.  It was at a gymnastics studio.  The kids had a blast!  Even Noah!!

Sofie literally jumped right in!
Noah was hesitant, but after helping him a couple of times he surprised us by doing it by himself.  He ran around and jumped and did everything.  We were thrilled!
The kids have never done anything like this before.  It was fun to watch them have this new experience.

Isak is in the middle of the back row next to Jaelyn - the birthday girl.  Kira is on the left end of the first row.  Sofie and Noah refused to be in the picture.
Pizza and cupcakes.  Pretty unicorn cupcakes.
It was a fun outing for us.
