G & G Nyborg Visit!!

Nels's parents came for a week long visit.  It was a wonderful visit and we really enjoyed them!  We even bought a fold out couch so they had something to sleep on! :)  Here's their guest room all ready for them.
They jumped right into the thick of things.  The kids immediately clobbered I mean played with them.  Noah spent some time showing Grandpa each of his toys and how they worked.
They brought the grandkids a new game to play called Charades.  We had a blast playing it and we've played it several times since.
Isak convinced grandpa to play a couple of games of Monopoly.
Grandma spent some time painting the girls nails.
And listening to them play the piano.
Sofie showed off her singing, dance moves and accessories.
Lots of reading and snuggling.

and more games.

It snowed while they were here too.
We took them to the library.  Sofie and Noah love this pretend play station.
A little down time together.
The kids were especially thrilled with bedtime and the extra books and snuggling.  💕
They were here for Valentine's day too.  This is what we gave the kids.  We gave them some different candy that they hadn't tried before like ring pops and gum balls.  We also stocked up on our candy treat supply.  And little white donuts because little Noah loves them.
Here's Sofie dressed up as a ballerina kitty cat.
So Noah dressed up with all his Mickey Mouse stuff.
Then they checked each other out.  haha.
Cold day!  0 degrees.  But sunny.
Sofie liked the ring pop.
One day Grandma and Grandpa took Isak and Kira out for lunch at Steak n Shake and then to the movie "DoLittle."
Isak and Kira Loooooved the attention, the food and the movie.
Just hanging out with grandma and eating my sucker...Noah.
Ticket to Ride...I think Isak won.
Sequence with grandma.
Nels brought home a valentine's day book for a surprise.  He read it while the kids finished eating dinner.
For Valentine's dessert we had raspberry filled chocolate cupcakes.
And sweet Nels gave me some ice cream and a homemade card.
I made homemade lasagna, salad and green beans for Valentine's dinner.

More bedtime...
Just some three year olds reading in the hallway.
Isak got a magic trick set from G & G for Christmas.  So they worked on a couple of tricks.   I think Isak was more surprised when the trick actually worked!  So funny.
We helped teach grandma some piano and then grandma and Isak played a duet together.  💕
Hanging out together.
Grandma taught me and Kira how to make rolls.

Pretty fancy...
And yummy!
Here's Kira reading to the kids.  :)
Jenga!
Holding his twin three year olds.  Those wild things!
This was actually when I was trying to teach a very short FHE lesson.  We also watched a short Book of Mormon video.
On their last day here, we sent the kids to school.  Then we went to Buttermilk for breakfast.  I had spoken very highly and excitedly about Buttermilk so they were pumped to try it.  :)
And Buttermilk did Not disappoint.  They were very pleased with it and full.
We did some other things that I will post about too.  But those were the little moments through out the week that we captured.  We were very sad when it was time for them to leave.  We had a great time!
