Sunday's in March

A few Sunday pictures.

I think this is an adorable photo!

Noah wanted a picture with the truck he made from Home Depot.
Kira wanted a picture with this toy.

Another Sunday - The boys got matching suits!  ðŸ’™
Noah with his teddy.
Another Sunday.  Spring clothes.  I love matching these kiddos.  ðŸ’›ðŸ’™
Girls dresses.
Boys suits.
These two or so funny.  Noah loves to make his brother laugh and he literally looks up to Isak.

We went to 1 hour in person church this month.  We did primary at home with the slides that we create to teach lessons and songs.  Then we try to take a few pictures because everyone is dressed up and looking so cute.

St. Patrick's Day

Our friend dropped off this fun Saint Patrick's basket and goodies!  It was so unexpected and fun.  We all loved it.
Isak and Kira made these cute leprechauns.
I made a fun treat for St. Patrick's Day this year.  Pots of gold and a rainbow...Rolos, gold sprinkles, pretzels and airhead rainbow bites.  Easy to make and the kids loved it.
In the goody baskets from our friend were these mustaches!  So we did a little photoshoot.
You can see Sofie's missing tooth in this picture.  :)
Heehee.

Funny picture with dad.
We got this activity from the library.  We planted the clover seeds...but I think we put too many in and nothing grew.  :(  But that's ok.
The kids did fun St. Patrick's day activities at school too.  I like Isak's Lucky poem.

We enjoyed celebrating together.

February Moments

Noah was obsessed with legos this month.  He doesn't know how to build them yet, but he loves to play with them once they are built.  So I ended up building them for him so he could play.  He was very proud of all of the legos.  I didn't have legos growing up, so it was actually pretty fun for me to do it.
I LOVE seeing my kids reading together.
I've been working on a project...going through old stuff...papers, journals, photos.  It's been so interesting to look back and see what I thought and hoped for and did.

It's kind of hard to see...but here's goals/ideas of what Nels and I wanted to do/learn.
Date ideas and things to do when we get bored.  It's rare for us to be bored now a days...Boredom is definitely a luxury right now.
Here's all of my journals from age 6 to present.  The pink diary with a teddy bear on it is my first one.
I love to read, but for some reason I don't track my reading very well.  But one year, 2007, I did...here's the books I read that year.
I found this in Nels's stuff.  His dad sent this to him on his mission.  Fred the alligator.  His dad always tells stories to the kids about Fred the alligator.  I didn't realize that Fred was around when Nels was young too.
Did anyone else get a card on Groundhogs day??  I'm pretty lucky!
I worked on a funnel for Code with a Pro.
Valentine making...
Noah and his Catboy.
Just going to school in the snow.
These two came with me to turn in their papers for Kindergarten registration!!!  Hooray!
Nels bought a Traeger grill. So manly.  ðŸ˜€
Art for Isak and Kira.
I love that Isak reads his scriptures.  He is staying right up with the reading for Come Follow Me, D&C this year.
Brown Sugar Muffins.  My mom made these for us when we were growing up.  So yummy.  3 of 4 kids like them.  Yay!
Sofie, the Monster, playing Race to the Treasure.  She loves this game.
Isak left this school paper out.  I took a picture and sent it to Nels.  "Reasons Dad inspires me."  ðŸ’™
Sofie is becoming quite the artist.  Kira has been teaching her.
Lots of bunny pictures.
Kira loves to play teacher/mom with Sofie.  Kira made these signs for Sofie...no candy, brush teeth, no running, run with a helmet.
The BIG question...do you love bunnies or bears???  Which on did she choose?  Her teacher told me that she chose bunnies.
Isak made this mask for art.  He thought it was so fun to wear.
Even while eating his lunch.
We were headed home after picking up Sofie and Noah.  As we passed this field, Isak said, "Look, the field is white, already to harvest!"  Haha!  I thought that was great!
Here's Sofie holding her bunnies.
Another day going to school in the snow and wearing masks.
Little Noah, cozy on the couch with his paw patrol blanket.
Sofie bunny roo!
She's just so cute and loves to eat my food.  Pancakes today...

Me and Noah.
Kira's newest unicorn drawing...
Building with mega blocks.  A giraffe and car.
Sitting at church...my boys.
My girls.
This is what I look like right now...of course Nels takes the worst pictures of me...but this one was ok...Although you can still see the exasperation/tiredness...did you take the picture yet?
Isak and his brain.  He decided he wanted to figure out 24 powered by 29.  So he did the calculations on paper by hand.  I taught him how to multiply with larger numbers and then he took off.  He got to 24 powered by 12...
36,520,347,436,056,576  And guess what?  He even knows how to say it!
Remember the Dad inspires me paper.  Isak wrote it up very nicely for school and then gave it to dad.  ðŸ’™
Sofie loves to paint at school.  I'm so grateful she gets to do it at school...it's not my favorite activity to do at home.
Sofie playing basketball for indoor motor time.
Building...for Noah.  He loves it.
We've been working on our letters with Noah.  He has a hard time writing.  But he's getting better.  Here's his name.
Practicing important words.  Mom, Dad, Gus, Ryan, Combo...From a show he likes.
Sofie came up to the bathroom while I was getting ready for the day.  She looked so cute dressed up in her Anna costume and asking to eat some Skittles.
I got out the big alphabet puzzle letters.  Sofie and Noah went to work putting it together in order.
I didn't even help them!  So proud of them.  They took turns walking on it and saying the letters.
Cleaning out the girls closets.  Time to put these beautiful dresses away.  My favorites.
Sofie bunny roo.

A Sunday at home picture.
We listened to the Primary Broadcast.  So good!  The kids drew pictures of praying kids....here's Sofie's.
Isak's.
Kira's.
I worked on the next calendar...here's the last month in my 2020/2021 calendar...mine go from Mar to Feb of the next year.  It's too crazy in December to make a calendar...so mine is a little off.  But hey, it works.  I made them for my Grandma, my parents and Nels's parents and then our family.  We love having a picture calendar.
I tried a new recipe...Monte Cristo sandwich.  The half on the left was air fried, the one on the right was fried...not very pretty...tasted ok.
Virtual school....
Sofie with her favorite things.
Nels and I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at Buttermilk.  We had tickets to go the Ice Castles, but they closed our day due to warm weather.  So sad.  I've wanted to go for two years!!  Maybe next year.
Sofie and Noah had a virtual school night.  It was all about Teddy Bears.  They read teddy bear stories and sang songs.  They also had paper activities too.  It was a fun night.
Dancing to a song.
Colored a teddy bear.
Kira drew a sun...
Noah loves this game.  Rush hour.  You have to move the cars around to get the red car out.  He can do the expert level.  I tried some of them and they are hard!  He likes to think.  I think that surprised him.  :)
Isak worked on building a solar robot boat.
It worked!
I made bread!  Recipe from Amber's Kitchen.
So delicious.  The kids even ate the crust!!!
Aunt Anna-Lisa surprised us with these unicorn fun pads.
Date night!  Texas Roadhouse.  My steak was So Good.

We checked out Guitar Center.  I used the bathroom there...I liked their sign for washing hands...hum/sing some tunes.
Sweet Kira...
Another picture of the Rush hour game.  Try to get the red car out...
And that's it for February!
Nothing too big...just little moments along the way.
