March actually had some nice weather! We still got some snow, but it was warm enough we could enjoy it and play in it. Once all the schools cancelled for COVID-19, we went outside a lot more!
Here's a lot of pictures of our outings.
I actually took this picture at the end of our outing...the sky was so pretty as we walked back to the car. We went to the South Mill Creek Park at the beginning of March.
I tried to get a picture of each kid...
Another day in March we went on our one mile hike near our home and played at the park afterwards.
Sometimes Isak will come and hangout with the others.
I love this one... Although Isak was upset because I asked him to hold Kira's hand and he didn't want to.
Holding dad's hand was better...
Everyone has a turn holding dad's hand!
Love this picture of Sofie. She doesn't like to look at the camera...but I like this one anyways.
See Kira's smile...it will change soon...
St. Patrick's day...We went to two parks this day. The first one we walked to it and looked for shamrocks on people's windows. Then the kids played and played.
I tried to put Noah in the swing but he refused with a big scream.
As I pushed Sofie, I just loved the blue sky. It was a sweet little moment for me.
Later, we made green rice crispy treats. We made one into a shape of a Shamrock and took it to the park with us to eat.
So fun!
And yummy.
Noah had fun at the park this time...
He totally surprised me and worked on conquering the rock wall. I helped him a few times and then he did it on his own a lot. I loved watching his confidence grow as he kept at it and learned how to do it.
Another day...Hiking to the Big Rock is the name we gave this trail near our house.
Fun shadows. Me and Sofie.
Isak rode his scooter.Kira helped Sofie learn how to scooter. She's such a patient teacher. Also, look at those clouds!!
And here's the big rock. The kids climb it. I take their picture and then we either keep going or go back home. So you'll see a lot of these big rock pictures in the next few months. :)
Dad hopped in on this picture. It's always fun to have dad join us.
Plus he can take my picture. Haha. Me and Isak conquered the big rock together!
Fun smile from Noah.
We woke up to snow one day...
We ended up building three horses joined together. Noah watched from the window. I made him go outside even though he really, really didn't want to go. He was just getting used to the snow when a dear sibling threw snow and it landed on him...that was the end for him. So he watched the rest of the snow play from the window.
These three loved the snow horse though!
Later, it turned into a fort wall as we had a fun snowball fight.
Another hike to the Big Rock. Scooters...
Sofie on the rock...
Kira standing in the wooded area.Noah was mad about something...Cute little pout.
Farther up the trail, is another stopping point...little rock. :)
Sofie loves riding this red balance bike. She's a little big for it... but she makes it work.
At the end of the hike, Noah decided to be brave and take a turn on the bike. He was surprised that he liked it! Much to Sofie's dismay because then she had to walk for a bit. We visited our neighbors amazing side walk chalk. So cool!!
Another outing...We did the one mile loop. Sofie on the bench.
Isak and Kira rode scooters, Sofie rode the red bike and Noah rode this little Jeep. He loved it. I ended up pushing him most of the time.
Sofie wanted her picture taken.
There is a big hill on this trail. Poor Isak took a tumble down it on his scooter and landed on his face. Oh how awful. We rushed home to take care of him. He had a really fat lip. Thankfully, the swelling went down and he is totally ok now!
Last outing in March. We drove to a new trail in a different part of the neighborhood. The kids were so excited to be in the car. haha. It was just another mile loop. The kids enjoyed the new area.
And there was a bench...so the kids climbed on and smiled for me. :)
And that's the outside pictures for March.
