August 31, Saturday - Hummingbird Festival
Isak went to a YM's activity to the Cumberland Caves from 8:30 - 3 pm. While he was gone we went to the Hummingbird Festival at Barfield Park.
It was a lot of fun and we enjoyed it!

We took the trail to get to the festival:
We made hummingbird perler bead keychains.
They had a lot of different stations. This one was a musical one:
We helped put some squares on the mosaic window.
We learned more about the hummingbird at this station.
It was so fun to explore, learn and be together.
The kids had a passport book and collected all of the stamps for all of the stations. They drew a hummingbird at the end.
They showed their completed passports and received a really nice hummingbird keychain. They were thrilled. I'm glad we participated in the festival.
And that's the last day of August 2024!
