School starts early here! On August 4, we went to the school in the evening to meet the teachers and drop off school supplies. Nels got to go with us. Yay!
Here's our school!
Everyone met their teacher. Sofie and Noah have Mrs. Nichols for 1st grade. Kira has Mr. Cable and Isak has Mrs. Edell. All of the teachers seem really nice. We hope it's a great year. We really like this school so far. Very friendly and welcoming.
Then August 5, Friday...the kids went to their first half day of school.

Sofie was the only one that got a new backpack. I think it's super cute.
She has giraffe shoes on too. :)

August 8 was the first full day of school. I loved these hats Sofie and Noah made at school.
Isak's teacher sent me this photo...They had to make name tags with just a few supplies.
Kira did the same project...
And on Friday, August 12th we celebrated being done with a full of week of school with donuts. Yum!
I take the kids to school and they ride the bus home. Overall, they really like their teachers, the bus, and making new friends. Going back to school is an adjustment and there have been (and still are) many struggles. We're just doing our best and trying to take it one day at a time.
