Strawberry Festival in Fort Mill, SC

I love May.  The weather is nice and the strawberries are in season!  We took advantage of the Strawberry Festival in Fort Mill, SC.  We started out with an all you can eat strawberry pancake breakfast.  Mmmm good!
Kira wasn't too excited about it, but as you can see Isak was getting into it...he even had seconds.

Then we headed over to the festival and climbed into an Ambulance.  Hopefully we never have to ride in one of these for real.  But it was interesting to check out.

There were little activities for the kids to do.  They got doctor hats and played with sidewalk chalk for a bit.
Kira found her purple chalk and was concentrating very hard on drawing.
Then we got free helmets for the kids and did the bike course.  Nels was very attentive to little Kira's first bike ride.
Isak and I took a selfie while we waited for our turn.
He tried to help her pedal.
She was pretty thrilled with the experience.
There's me and Isak making our way around the track.
We checked out the cool car show.
Light blue was a popular color this year.

And Nels asked me to take his picture with this car.  haha.  He is so funny.  He just loves cars so much!
There were lots of vendors for food and crafts and desserts.  We bought some bbq sandwiches and a hot dog for the kids.  That's about all.  We had fun just being together as a family and celebrating Strawberries.
